The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island. It still has it's own floor maltings which make up about 30% of their requirements. Their No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Feis Ile Bowmore released only 100 bottles of this cask strength whisky. The label has been signed by distillery manager Eddie McCaffer.
