This is a superbly rich, malty whisky from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. It was actually almost entirely distilled at one of Speyside's most legendary distilleries, though after distillation the whisky was "spooned" (this involves adding a touch of whisky from another distillery). The reason for doing this is to prevent other companies selling a famous distillery's whisky as single malt.
The comic book-style illustration on the bottle depicts a large crowd of whisky lovers worshipping a giant spoon - for the art of spooning the whisky allows bottlers to sell incredible spirits from incredible distilleries for just a fraction of the price they'd be if the name of the distillery was on the bottle.
