In 1826 the exuberant and extroverted James Allardice founded the distillery and produced his 'Guid GlenDronach' single malt. There was a period where the distillery was mothballed between 1996 and 2002. However in 2008, nothing less than a complete renaissance began. The BenRiach Distillery Company becameGlenDronach's proud new owner.
A very rare bottling of the 1968 Glendronach 25 year old, this is from the legendary Air Nippon bottlings, which are rumoured to be the best whiskies ever produced by Glendronach.
