What a smart presentation of Glenfarclas! This bottle contains whisky that has been aged exclusively in Fino sherry casks. It is a very special release, the first of 6 to commemorate the 6 generations of Grant family who still own and run the distillery. The silver coin on the front features founder owner John Grant .
From a small run of 1444 bottles worldwide, with a rumored UK release of just 300 bottles. In true understated Glenfarclas style, this whisky is a cool 47 years old. We can think of plenty of distilleries who would make the age of the whisky the biggest thing on the label, but no such display here!
