Glenfiddich 1976 Concorde Exclusive

Glenfiddich was founded by William Grant, who had learned his craft at Mortlach, and the first spirit ran from the stills on Christmas Day 1887. Glenfiddich is also credited with creating the world's interest in single malt whisky with the launch of the Straight Malt in 1963. Still family owned, it was the first single malt brand to sell 1 million cases in a year.

This extremely rare Private Vintage was distilled at the Glenfiddich distillery in 1976 exclusively for supersonic jet Concorde (the year Concorde was commercially introduced), bottled around 2002 from cask 2433 and is hand numbered.

This exclusive rarity could only be purchased by passengers on the supersonic airline, which has sadly been grounded since 2003.
