A very warm welcome to our June auction. We have a luscious choice to pick from including a fair spread from that well known Feis-tival on Islay. That’s right... if you missed out on this year’s array of Feis Ile bottles then DO NOT PANIC! - there’s something for everyone this month with a healthy choice to pick from all whisky-related regions.

To begin, let’s bring you up to Speyside to show off not one but two Glen Grant 1950 65 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail’s! Share the Wealth Solutions bottles this time…...These bottlings were the second release on the Trilogy from the Polish based company Wealth Solutions. Despite sitting for 65 years after being filled at 63.5%, the angels were reserved on this single sherry cask as it still holds up at a potent 59.3%.

This month’s auction also holds not one but two Speyside heavyweights, Macallan 52 Year Olds.

Let’s also pay homage to the lost Karuizawa distillery with the 38 Year Old Pearl Geisha. This is one of a pair of Pearl Geishas released in 2018 and was bottled by Elixir Distillers exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. This rare piece of liquid history has come from one single sherry cask and the striking label artwork has been designed by Raj Chavda, The Whisky Exchange’s Creative director.

Now we can’t go through this month’s auction without mentioning the Feis Ile on Islay can we? One last minute surprise star was the mega tasty drinker; the single cask Caol Ila Feis Ile 1990 28 Year Old! Another slightly odd yet delicious Feis-er is the Bunnahabhain 1988 30 Year Old Champagne finish. This bottle also comes with an interesting footballers’ wives handbag if you wish to act the wag in front of your chums.

If it’s a dark sherry devil you’re in the market for then there are a fair amount of 666 casks from Bowmores 2019 release. Ardbeg also surprised us on the day with their two single cask releases.

Let’s finish off by pointing you in the direction of a Bowmore Black 1964 1st Edition and an Old Pulteney 40 Year Old presented in a stylish hand-blown glass bottle with a Caithness slate cork. Both semi-regulars for SWA however always worth a brag.

Okay, shades and shorts are on, dram in hand, get bidding and remember... don’t lose your bottle.
