An extremely rare and historic vintage, the 1966 50 year old Ben Nevis Highland single malt scotch whisky. Distilled in May 1966, and laid down for more than 50 years in a sherry hogshead, Bottled in April 2017 in a very low outturn of only 163 bottles for Herrmann Suppanz of Alambic Classique, Germany. A well respected company among connoisseurs. Bottled without any colour and chill filtration, and at the cask strength 40.6% ABV. Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by hand, and is presented in a beautiful wooden box.
This extraordinary Highland single malt is one of Ben Nevis' oldest whiskies, matured for 50 years.
