Located south of Nagoya city in Aichi prefecture, the Chita grain distillery supplies the grain whisky that goes into Suntory’s excellent Hibiki blends. However, a small amount does make it out into the world as The Chita Single Grain.
This is part of Suntory’s ‘Essence’ range of bottlings, and contains single grain from Chita which has been embellished with a 4 year finishing period in wine casks.
