Lot number: 168-01677

Winning bid: £25

Launched by William Grant - founder of the Glenfiddich distillery - in 1898, Grant’s is Scotland’s oldest continuously family-run, blended whisky maker. William’s rise from cattle herder to whisky baron is one of the great tales in Scotch. In 1903, William employed his son-in-law Charles Gordon and six years later he embarked on a world tour spreading the word about Grant’s (or, as it was then called, Grant’s Standfast after the clan motto: ‘Standfast Craigellachie’) and making the brand into the worldwide success it is today.

This rum comes from Discarded Sprits, which is owned by William Grant & Sons and is made using banana peel.

37.5% ABV / 70cl
