Daqin Luyi Whiskey Distillery is located at the southern foot of Daqin Mountain in Zhangzhou, Fujian, at an altitude of one thousand meters. The founder is Mr. Wu Songbai from Yilan, who started planning the “Cloud Dream Project” in 2007. On a journey of exploration in his life, he returned to his hometown in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou City. Adhering to the spirit of innovation, experimentation and tradition, the “Daqin Luyi Whisky Distillery” was established on this land that carries family memories. “Lu Yi” refers to the Yilan people who work hard in the mainland. He simulated the natural environment for distilling high-quality whisky through the concept of “compensating for latitude with altitude”.
The distillery is also a cultural tourist destination. Covering an area of 260,000 square meters, it combines whisky distilling with the local rich natural environment and agricultural culture, providing unique experiences including local fruits, coffees and tea culture. The number “1544.8” on the label represents the altitude of Daqin Mountain, which is a tribute to the essence of this land and it’s whisky.
