Glenbeg Single Malt

Glasgow-based whisky blender and bottler MacDuff International Ltd is a modern Scotch company with three core historical brands. Grand Macnish, Lauder’s, and Islay Mist. Alongside its three core brands, initially purchased at its outset, MacDuff International owns several brands of its own creation, including Strathbeag, Cumbrae Castle, Regent, and Glenbeg.

MacDuff International was founded by Stewart MacDuff, Charles Murray, and Edward Thomson in 1992. The trio had a combined wealth of experience in the spirits industry with MacDuff and Thomson previously working for Whyte & Mackay, while Murray worked with Johnnie Walker owner United Distillers. The three established MacDuff International with the aim of producing high quality blended whiskies, and did so by first acquiring three brands from Allied Distillers: Grand Macnish, Lauder’s, and Islay Mist.
