This tres vielle, or very old, cognac comes from The Borderies, which is the smallest cru of the appellation. Jacques Ordonneau suddenly passed in 1979 when his son, Gérard, took over.
Today the estate is in the hands of Jacques’ Grandson Benoit Ordonneau who oversees production and seeks to modernise the estate whilst respecting the traditional methods.
