First emerging onto the Japanese whisky scene in 2015, Kurayoshi was first seen as a brand rather than a distillery. It wasn’t until 2017 when they set up an actual distillery, but all of this happened away from the public eye, even the people in the Japan whisky industry were unbeknown to it!
