Four generations from when Davis Hogue made whisky on his land, his legacy is honoured by his great-granddaughter, Multi Grammy Award winning superstar Beyonce.
Master Distiller and whisky legend Dr. Bill Lumsden was chosen to craft SirDavis. With a unique mash bill of 51% rye and 49% barley, the spirit was treated to a secondary maturation in sherry casks, which has rounded out ryes characteristically spicy notes with structured flavours of juicy red fruit. It has also interestingly been finished, blended and bottled in Beyonce’s home state of Texas.
