Isle of Skye is a well loved and historic blend. With Speyside and Island malts no doubt around a Talisker core, as for many years this was the only distillery on the Isle of Skye. The brand is thought to have been created somewhere in the 1930s by Ian Macleod, the Skye-born blender whose family owned the Torgorm estate in Inverness-shire.
