A large plant situated on the banks of the river Fiddich, Glendullan was the last of the seven original distilleries to be built in Dufftown (the total is now nine, although there are a number of silent distilleries in that number). The original distillery had two stills and was largely demolished and rebuilt next door in the 1970s.
It’s weathered over its 100 years of production in its various guises. Predominantly used for blends, there are only a handful of single malt releases, the Singleton of Glendullan brand which was launched in 2007 is an exclusive for the North American market.
