Writer’s Tears Single Cask #1435 Mizunara Finish

Writer’s Tears whiskey is produced by a small Irish family company - Walsh Whiskey started by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh in 1999 with the intention of blending the perfect Irish Coffee recipe - whose aim is to stay as true as possible to the techniques and recipes of old. Pot Still Whiskey was unique in Ireland as it was produced from a blend of malted and unmalted barley all distilled using pot stills. This practice has died out and now most modern Irish whiskies are blends or single malts.
