Inchgower 12 Year Old Circa 1970’s 26 2/3 Fl Oz
Lot number: 173-03022
Winning bid: £110
Inchgower has produced steadily and consistently for over 70 years and in this time the vast majority of the whisky produced has been used for the Bell’s blend.
Purchased from Buckie town council by Arthur Bell & Sons, who in turn had purchased the distillery from the bankrupt Alexander Wilson & Co., only 1% of the distillery’s output is bottled as a single malt.
As the remaining 99% of Inchgower ends up in blends, this is a chance to taste the heart of some of the world’s most popular drams.
We estimate this bottling is from the 1970’s.
Age: 12 year old
70° Proof / 26 2/3 Fl Ozs
