Tullibardine 16 Year Old Joint Services “Spirit Of Scott” Expedition
Lot number: 173-03109
Winning bid: £35
In 1949 William Delme Evans began work converting a brewery into what is now the Tullibardine distillery; and as the Gleneagles Brewery in Blackford had previously been brewing alcohol since 1488, it is one of the oldest sites in Scotland for distilling and brewing. After being silent from 1994 to 2003, Tullibardine is now owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux, who bought it in 2011.
This bottle was released in 2012 and was selected by the Joint Services “Spirit of Scott” Expedition, which struck out for the South Pole by the less travelled and unexplored regions.
Age: 16 Years Old
