Glen Keith has recently been refurbished and expanded with a capacity of 6 million litres a year. Chivas Brothers are intending to use almost all of its spirit for blending. In the past, the distillery has been a site of experimentation. It has been innovative in the use of yeast strains as well as trying to peat the water used in production. Now recognised particularly for its 100 Pipers blend, in the 1970s Glen Keith produced Craigduff and Glenisla, two unique experimental single malts never released by the owners, but they can be found bottled independently by Signatory.
