The Isle of Harris distillery started in 2015 with just 10 people and had the ambition to double over the next five years. Today they have over 50 employees which is quite a high number since less than 2000 people are living on the island!
The Hearach is the first single malt whisky from the Isle of Harris. Every batch is made with the same recipe but they do have a few subtle differences between them.
