Courvoisier Napoleon Baccarat Crystal Decanter 26 Fl Oz

A cognac brand first produced by Jules Gallois and Felix Courvoisier in the mid-19th century in the region of Charente in France - although their respective fathers Louis and Emmanuel had developed their brandy-making reputation during the Napoleonic Wars - Courvoisier was then bought by an English family who established the identity of the cognac with its recognisable Josephine bottle and Napoleon’s shadow as a logo.

The cognac was notably prevalent in Charles Dickens’ spirit collection after his passing and was famously requested for the grand opening of the Eiffel Tower. Courvoisier now belongs to Beam Suntory and continues to produce elegant and stylish cognacs.

This has been described as a very best of Courvoisier.

This was the cognac of Napoleon. Shunning the other brands he took hundreds of bottles with him for his years of exile. Now that is brand loyalty.
