Don Julio 1942 Tequila Anejo Peggy Gou Edition

Named after the company’s founder, Don Julio Gonzalez-Frausto Estrada - who began distilling in 1942 when he was only 17 years old to support his family after his father’s passing two years earlier - Don Julio tequila comes from La Primavera distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Due to the sheer quality of the spirit produced, the brand became popular and is regarded as the first luxury tequila; breaking away from the perception of it as a farmer’s drink.

This anejo release is regarded as one of the best around.
