Distilled in Kentucky (who’d have thought it?!) and bottled by Kentucky Owl LLC in Bardstown, every batch of Kentucky Owl is a celebration of the rebirth of the family brand. This is a recent re-addition to the world of American whiskey, as the original Dedman family distillery was left high and dry by the prohibition and it’s stock infamously looted by no other than Al Capone himself.
Confiscated is a reference to the Dedman family’s entire whiskey inventory being seized by the Federal government in 1916 and never returned.
This is the first Kentucky Owl release to be made avaliable outwith Kentucky state.
