This small-batch (Batch Bach) whisky was distilled in 2022 and bottled at cask strength in 2025 after maturing in a 30-litre cask. The smaller cask allows for greater interaction between spirit and wood, accelerating maturation and deepening colour and flavour. Bottling at cask strength preserves the whisky’s full intensity, aroma, and character.
In The Welsh Wind Distillery uses an advanced iStill system to craft its innovative Welsh whisky. The automated controls ensure precision and consistency, while the stainless-steel design allows tailored flavour extraction and energy efficiency. Using locally sourced water and green, unkilned malt, the distillery blends tradition and technology to create a distinct, modern Welsh spirit. A traditional Welsh couplet printed on the back label celebrates the nation’s poetic heritage, connecting each bottle to the land, language, and culture that inspire it.
