Formed after Fred and Stewart Laing parted ways in 2013, Hunter Laing is under ownership of the latter and his two sons. The company took over Edition Spirits and began releasing their First Editions series. Since the demerger, Hunter Laing claimed the following ranges: Old Malt Cask; Old and Rare Selection; and the Sovereign.
Hunter Laing have branched into the world of rum bottling with the Kill Devil range; so named due to 17th and 18th century Caribbean superstitions. The series showcases the variety and quality of rums from the Caribbean islands in particular. The single casks are carefully selected to be shipped to and bottled in Scotland.
