Ensconced in an old wool mill built in 1882, Balint Damosy started Hungary’s first licensed Gin Distillery, Opera Gin. Reviving the old tradition of local distilleries within the walls of Budapest. Balint a lawyer by day, a lover of wine and gin by day and night, embarked upon a quest of discovery. Traveling the globe learning from different distilleries and taking classes on how to achieve his goal. And Just 2 years later he opened his project, not only a distilelry, but also a Gin & Wine bar called Sfnix.
