Starward Projects Ginger Beer Cask #5 50cl

In a country known for its New World wines, it seems apt that Australia’s Starward Distillery ages the majority of its whiskies in red wine barrels. Production is based in Melbourne - recognised as a city with a thriving food and drink scene - where they are surrounded by world-class wineries in the slightly cooler climate which is, of course, suited to whisky production.

An interesting project from Starward - this is their prized Solera single malt whisky but finished in an ex-Apera barrel that previously held ginger beer from their Braeside neighbours at Boatrocker.
