Launched into the world in 2002, George T Stagg - named after the man who helped build up the reputation of what is now the Buffalo Trace Distillery and brand - immediately garnered reviews and accolades of which lesser drams can only dream. Winning the Malt Advocate’s Whiskey of the Year within months of its release and championed by Jim Murray, Bourbon of the Year for three years in a row 2008 - 2010 and indeed World Whisky of the Year in 2004, George T. Stagg’s high rye recipe, long aging and uncut strength result in one of the world’s greatest whiskies.
