Lot number: 177-00450

Winning bid: £65

Nestled in the idyllic Cotswolds region of England, sits the eponymous distillery founded by Daniel Szor. They have been producing fine spirits since 2014, including Gin, Absinthe and cream liqueur. However, perhaps most significantly (for us at least) 2017 marked the release of their first whisky, finally having come of age after three years of maturation.

Since 2022, a completely new distillery has been built on site to house some of the old equipment as well as a new 2 ton mash ton and two much larger stills. This has now quadrupled the annual output capacity to 500,000 litres. The old still house is now used to produce rum.

This special coronation vatting has been created from a unique vatting, made using heritage Plumage Archer barley grown on the Highgrove Estate and aged in first-fill bourbon casks and premium red wine casks.
