Founded in 1992 by Brian Cook, the Vintage Malt Whisky Company set out with the aim to produce a range of malt whiskies from the country’s finest distilleries and to present them to independent importers worldwide. The company is perhaps best known for its Cooper’s Choice range of single cask bottlings paying homage to the craftsmen who made the perfect casks by exploring cask finishes. Vintage Malt also bottle Finlaggan, Islay Storm and the Ileach from unnamed Islay distilleries, as well as Smoke Stack from casks selected in Islay and the Highlands for its smokey flavour.
This Single Cask was released especially for the Feis Ile 2022. From an unnamed Islay Distillery, matured in Oloroso Sherry Butts for a sweet and fruity flavour!
