Founded by Aeden Burt and Iain Mundy in St Andrews, based in Kirkcaldy and bonded in Auchtermuchty, Fife Independent Bottlers pride themselves on honouring their local heritage and legends.
As independent bottlers, Fib buy whisky from many different distilleries, then carry out finishing and occasionally blending experiments to create something new and exciting. The brainchild of two passionate whisky fans, with a dream of once owning their own distillery, Fib Whisky is a celebration of their favourite drams, showcasing the finest single casks with their very own unique finishes. Sadly, founder and managing director, Aeden passed away earlier in 2023 but Iain has continued on with the business and they have recently released a new blended malt, “Pictish Beastie”.
