Adelaide based Tria Prima is a small family business ran by Paul and Trang Shand. Head distiller Paul, formerly a geochemist, uses chemistry as a tool to understand the evolution of the earth and its natural waters. This boutique nano-distillery is located in the Adelaide Hills, not far from the summit of Mount Barker.
The Enchantress release is distilled using casks previously containing McWilliams Apera. The casks were scraped and given a low char to achieve a well balanced whisky with a deep, rich mahogany look.
