Saburomaru 2021 V The Hierophant

Wakatsuru first started producing whisky in 1952 when it obtained its license and its first release came only a year later, however in the same year a fire broke out in the distillation room which burned down a total of six buildings, with the hard work from the local people in the community they managed to rebuild in less than six months. 60 years later and Wakatsuru Shuzo launched the Saburomaru Distillery Repair Project which secured over 25 million yen in funding for the project.
