Lot number: 181-03081

Winning bid: £65

Martell is the oldest of the great cognac houses with its foundation in 1715 on the banks of the Charente when a Jersey-born merchant called Jean Martell created his own trading company. Since then the passion has been passed down through generations of the Martell family and has always been associated with luxury: it was served on the Queen Mary in 1936 and on Concorde in the 1970s.

Created by cellar master Christophe Valtaud, Martell Noblige Noir has been crafted with charred oak casks for more intense richness and complexity.

Cask Type: Charred Oak Casks
