A Japanese whisky from Toashuzo Co, the owners of the now closed distillery of Hanyu.This has been distilled in the Hanyu distillery, however it is unsure as to whether it’s completely Hanyu or a part blend. According to Ichiro (former distillery owner), he took back all Hanyu casks when he left the company (Toa Shuzo) so there was no Hanyu left except a small precious amount left over in their tanks.This bottling is thought to be from the remainder left in the tanks.
This bottling has been yielded from a single Sherry cask, with only 299 bottles being released which has been split accross three themed labels (Shikiri, Yumitori-Shiki, Yumitori-Shiki).
