Isle Of Harris The Hearach ‘The 1916’ 2024 Release With Book

The Isle of Harris distillery started in 2015 with just 10 people and had the ambition to double over the next five years. Today they have over 50 employees which is quite a high number since less than 2000 people are living on the island!

This bottling was the first public release from the distillery, labelled as ‘The 1916’, in tribute to the 1916 residents on the Isle of Harris. The whisky was matured in a combination of first fill ex-bourbon, Oloroso and Fino sherry casks.
