This is a limited edition single malt whisky from Lerwick Distillery on the Shetland Islands.
It is one of the Lerwick Distillery’s inaugural premium releases under the Nørn name, whch refers to the extinct historic North Germanic language of Shetland, Orkney and Caithness that had evolved from Old West Norse. A mix of Scots and Scandinavian influences that the distillery describes as “the spirit that we speak.”
The distillery was founded by native Shetlanders Martin Watt and Calum Miller, with Caroline MacIntyre and master distiller Ian Millar, formerly of Glenfiddich/Balvenie.
