Martell is the oldest of the great cognac houses with its foundation in 1715 on the banks of the Charente when a Jersey-born merchant called Jean Martell created his own trading company. Since then the passion has been passed down through generations of the Martell family and has always been associated with luxury: it was served on the Queen Mary in 1936 and on Concorde in the 1970s.
Cordon Bleu was first created by Edouard Martell in 1912 and has been unchanged ever since. This legendary blend of over 100 eaux-de-vie remains many connoisseurs’ favourite expression of Martell.
