Morton’s O.V.D. (Old Vatted Demerera) is Scotland’s no. 1 dark rum and was originally imported from Guyana in 1838 by George Morton, a Dundee based brandy and whisky bottler and blender. The spirit is distilled from molasses using traditional stills in Guyana along the Demerara River. The brand is currently owned by William Grant & Sons.
