Built to provide whisky for the Teacher’s blend in 1898, this Highlander’s main production is a peated whisky, but there is also a non-peated version called Ardlair (Ardless is its nickname) which accounts for around 40% of its output. Due to how prominent and significant its role as a base for a blend is, Ardmore is rarely found as a single malt, but a determined few followers seek it out as an independent bottling.
A rare independent bottling of Port Charlotte, Bruichladdich’s heavily peated whisky. Presented by Spirit Filled as part of their Mythical Beasts range, this single cask release is limited to only 150 bottles. It matured in a single bourbon cask for 14 years.
