Located just south of Forres in Speyside, Dunphail is a resolutely traditional distillery, dedicated to crafting the finest whisky the way it used to be made. From malting the highest quality barley through to a demanding production regime that is completely guided by hand, they take all the time that is necessary within every stage of the whisky making process.
All of the barley is prepared inside the distilleries traditional malthouse, with a working kiln and iconic pagoda roof. The teams dedication to detail is demonstrated by using long fermentations, applying direct fire to the pot stills, alongside an extensive maturation policy for their casks.
