This bottle is being auctioned to raise money for the charity Blameless which was formed to give the children of recovering alcoholics and drug addicts new dreams, happier memories and a vision of hope for the future.
As such the usual Scotch Whisky Auctions rules will apply - we will charge no fees or commission to the seller of this bottle to ensure the maximum is raised.

A very old and rare bottling of Ardbeg with the rather strange title of Special Liqueur. A slight mystery surrounds this bottle as to when it was distilled and bottled, though the best guess is that it was bottled sometime in the 1950s by D&J MacEwan & Co. There are no details regarding bottle size or the ABV.
There is some damage to the cap and seal and while the cork is intact it requires careful handling. It should also be noted that the level is quite below the shoulder.
