Royal Salute is a brand of Scotch whisky produced by Chivas Brothers. Inspired by the brand’s historic involvement with polo, we were asked to develop limited edition packaging for their 21-year-old blend using the materials and traditional saddlery techniques associated with the sport of kings.
Combining leather with sturdy, practical canvas, a stitched leather cup holds the bottle securely in place, whilst the blue canvas body and neck with its drawstring detail provides protection. The strap in the same tan shoulder leather can either be wrapped around as a tie for the bottle, or repurposed as a carrying handle as required.
