Ontake distillery lies in the rolling hills of the Kagoshima countryside and is the home of Nishi Shuzo’s newest spirits endeavour. Established in 1845, Nishi Shuzo have made an impressive name as producers of high quality spirits through years of experience and craftsmanship. Nishi Shuzo have added Japanese single malt whisky from Ontake distillery to their portfiolio. Spirit first ran through Ontake’s stills in 2019, and all whisky releases will be exclusively matured in old sherry casks.
