St Magdalene was the last of five distilleries to close in Linlithgow in 1983 and it has now been turned into flats which can still be recognised by the pagoda vents that are a prominent feature of the buildings. Two official bottlings were released as part of the Rare Malts series as well as several independent bottlings; most recently from Gordon & MacPhail.
This whisky was bottled to celebrate 100 years of 64 Waterloo St in 1998.
