Established in 1961 and after a period of inactivity the His Excellency brand - owned by Bartels Whisky - was successfully relaunched in 2013. This is a very dark-coloured blended grain scotch.
Distilled in 1973 at North of Scotland and bottled at 25% strength, and at 48 years old. No longer able to be called single malt Scotch due to its depleted ABV, this is a “Spirit of North Scotland” bottled by Bartels Whisky under their ‘His Excellency’ banner.
