Lot number: 180-01119
Winning bid: £60
Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead’s is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises - located next to the Springbank distillery - also features their own shop offering a variety of bottled spirits from different distilleries.
With their own warehouse stocked full of exciting whiskies, rums, cognacs and more; Cadenhead’s can always be relied upon to bottle high quality spirits free from artificial colouring and chill filtration.
Cadenhead’s Enigma series are just that - unusual, hard to quantify, perhaps even slightly contradictory. They can be single casks, vattings of multiple casks, blends or blended malts.
