Winning bid: £20
With its distinctive square bottle, its label angled precisely at 24° and the iconic Striding Man, Johnnie Walker is the world’s best selling Scotch whisky retailing more than 20 million cases a year. It was first created in Kilmarnock in 1865 and is now available in almost every country in the world with the establishment of significant ‘Houses’ across Asia. Between 1906 & 1909 John Walker’s grandsons introduced the colour names which the bottles still bear to this day with the Blue Label - introduced in 1992 - being the rarest.
A twist on Johnnie Walker Black Label, originally released into the travel retail market in 2010. This adds to the normal Black Label profile by including more smokey whisky and casks that have been heavily charred for more smoke while keeping the typical Johnnie Walker style.
