One of Glasgow’s Premier Independent Whisky Bottling Companies was established in 2016 by Iain Croucher. At North Star Spirits, they are dedicated to unearthing the hidden gems within the Scotch Whisky realm, meticulously curating casks and spirits that ignite intriguing discussions.
North Star bottle between 6-9 casks every quarter. They currently have three parts to the business: The Single Cask Malt Whisky, Blended Malts and Blended Scotch. They have also bottled a couple of Rums as well.
North Star focuses its energies on the curiosities, peculiar oddities and obscurities. Whisky as it comes, straight from the cask and into a bottle. The Blended Malt range is named after the star VEGA and the Blended Scotch range generally goes under the star named SPICA.
They are also currently building a new distillery and visitor centre in the heart of Campbeltown called Dal Riata.
The Millennial Range of whiskies were released as an exploration of whisky production regions of Scotland to show off each region’s unique qualities.
